Oman, with its strategic location in the Middle East with easy accessibility to both Africa and the Indian sub-continent, is in a prime position to support transport and logistics operations and management in this increasingly important region of the world.

The growing importance of transport and logistics management within an increasingly global economy requires professionals who can understand the integration of new and existing transport modes including sea, road, rail, and air into the further development of global supply chains that support the world’s economy. The Bachelor of Science program in Transport and Logistics Management was designed with the aid of business educators and industry leaders to expose students to modern thinking, methods, and practices in supply chain and logistics operations management. The program also integrates knowledge and skillsets in economics, finance, management, and other areas associated with transportation systems on a local, regional, and international scale.
